1 Bedroom Singel Zone 40-60 m2

More info...

For a two-room (1 bedroom) residence ranging from 40-60 m2, with one bedroom (approximately 15-25 m2) and a living room adjacent to each other, we recommend a Two-Zone Twin System. In this setup, one of the indoor units is typically positioned high up on the wall in the living room, and the other is placed high on the nearest possible interior wall in the adjacent bedroom. The outdoor unit is mounted on the facade outside the residence, alternatively on a leg stand directly on the ground, or on the property's terrace or balcony, depending on what is allowed in the property where the system will be installed (A shaded location provides better conditions for the system to work efficiently and economically, while a sunny spot makes the machine work harder to deliver cool air to the residence. It consumes more electricity and may require more frequent servicing). Check the regulations applicable to your residence before placing your order. Contact projects@mrchris.ac if you want us to assist you with this. It's an additional service that we charge for on an hourly basis. For some, it's worth paying for this service and avoiding worries about potential issues with the building permit. Simply easy and convinient.

In our example, the outdoor unit has been placed on the balcony, with one indoor unit in the living room and another in the bedroom. The pipe duct from the living room goes directly through the exterior wall to the outdoor unit, which is the simplest and most cost-effective way to install an AC-Heat Pump. The indoor unit in the bedroom is connected to the outdoor unit through a pipe duct run high up along the inner wall of the living room. An alternative would have been to run the pipe duct from the bedroom out through the exterior wall, especially if it were a corner apartment, and the outdoor unit could then have been placed on the facade to save space on the balcony.

Our Recommendation

We always recommend investing in a quality machine from a premium brand, preferably a model with a slightly higher output than strictly necessary. This ensures that, when properly maintained, you have a system that will last for many years to come. You get a unit that can effortlessly provide a comfortable indoor climate regardless of the season or extreme temperature changes.

The price of the AC-Heat Pump depends partly on its capacity to deliver heat, and, of course, the build quality of the machine. A machine with higher heating output quickly becomes more expensive to purchase than machines with lower output. However, the larger machine can often run more cost-effectively compared to a smaller system. The choice of which machine to go for depends, of course, on both budget considerations and the specific requirements one has for their system.
